Refugia DeLeon, 78 of Cuero passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013. She was born on July 4, 1935 in Yorktown to the late Alonso Villa and Refugia Garcia. She married her beloved husband, Saragosa DeLeon Sr.
She is survived by her daughters; Mary Alice Gonzales (Claudio) of Cuero and Linda DeLeon (Martin) of Athens, GA. Sons; Saragosa DeLeon, Jr. (Gloria) of Telferner, Ray DeLeon (Alberta) of Victoria, Roy DeLeon (Tina) of Victoria, Ricky DeLeon (Julie) of Lacey, WA., and Roger DeLeon (Caroline) of Cuero. Brother; Frank Villa of Yoakum. 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Juan DeLeon, David DeLeon, sister, Janie Martinez, and brother, Erasmo Villa.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm, Sunday, September 29, 2013, with a rosary staring at 6pm, at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held 10:00am Monday, September 30, 2013 at Freund Funeral Home with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Mission Valley.
Pallbearers include Chris DeLeon, Ricci DeLeon, Raymond DeLeon, Chris Kenne, Erik Gonzales, and Claudio Gonzales.
