Abelardo "Lalo" Cisneros, 96, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was born May 11, 1919 in Cuero to the late Francisco and Eloisa Cisneros. He is survived by sisters, Felipa C. Garcia of Cuero, Maria C. Morales of Houston; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Hortenica Herrera, Eloisa Cavazos, Ofelia Canales, Orfelina Mungia; brothers, George Cisneros, Jose Cisneros, Francisco Cisneros, and Rudolpho Cisneros. Visitation will be held at Freund Funeral Home on Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 5-7 pm with a Rosary to begin at 6 pm. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadlupe Church on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 10 am with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at San Luis Cemetery in Yorktown. Pallbearers include Andres Garcia, Jr., Randall Garcia, Ruben Garcia, Victor Cavazos, Ernest Cisneros, and George Cisneros.
