Adam Denson, 65, of Cuero passed away peacefully on February 12, 2011. He was born December 14, 1945 in Cuero to the late Spencer Jones and Lucille Denson. He worked for Groc-Weardon in Victoria for many years, and most recently retired from the Cuero Independent School District as a Custodian. Adam was a kind-hearted and fun-loving person. He loved people, and enjoyed having cookouts at his home. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his sister, Shirley Ballard and husband, Willie, of Highland Ranch, Colorado; brothers, Eugene Denson and wife, Josilyn, Clarence Bradshaw and wife, Janice, of Austin, and Clarence Coats of Cuero; and his extended loving family of nieces and nephews, Thessa Roy Ballard of Manhattan, New York, and LaTricia Bradshaw, Kei Denson, Kai Denson, and Kevin Denson, all of Austin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Marshall, Fay, and Charles.
A wake will be held Friday, February 18, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at LE Meador Encampment Ground, 210 Nash, Cuero, Texas with Rev. Lawrence G. Roy II officiating.
