WESTHOFF - Adam R. Reyna, 83, of Westhoff, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009, in Cuero. He was born March 8, 1926, in Dewitt County to the late Nasario Reyna and Francisca Rodriguez. He married Amelia Lopez Reyna on Feb. 16, 1947, in Yoakum. He was retired and self-employed. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Virginia Ochoa of San Antonio and Cynthia Wooddall of Alvin; sons, Adam Reyna Jr. of Del Rio, Albert Reyna of Texas City, and Raul Reyna of Cuero; sisters, Rita Castro of San Antonio, Ida Longoria of New Mexico, and Mary Stowe of Westhoff; four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., Monday, April 27, 2009, at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Burial will be at San Pedro Cemetery in Concrete.
