Adeline Ruth Thamm, 93, of Cuero passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019.  She was born December 18, 1925 in Cuero to the late Albert C. and Julia Rapp Wolf.  She married the late Fred Otto Thamm on October 27, 1944 at Zion Lutheran Church in Arneckeville during World War II.  Adeline was a housewife and loving mother.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Powell & Ben Burkett of Cuero; sons, Robert (Terron) Thamm of Cuero, and Stephen (Serena) Thamm of Cuero; sister, Ida Marie Schultz of San Antonio; and brother Harold Wolf of Houston; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents; husband, brothers, Armin Wolf, Eugene Wolf, Walter Wolf and Ralph Wolf.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 1 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Arneckeville with Funeral Services beginning at 2PM with Pastors Nate Lizarazo and Barbara Wangsness officiating.  Interment will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Arneckeville.

Pallbearers will be Derek Thamm, Kenny Powell, Cory Thamm, Seth Thamm, Phillip Thamm, Jeramy Bailey.  Honorary Pallbearers are Travis Thamm, Cody Thamm and Morgan Thamm.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of South Texas or Zion Lutheran Cemetery Association.
