Adolph Lopez, 67, of Cuero passed away Monday, April 30, 2012 in San Antonio. He was born March 15, 1945 in Cuero to the late Adolfo 'Rollie' and Guadalupe Flores Lopez. He married Antonia T. Lopez on July 27, 1969 in Cuero. He worked maintenance at Dupont for HB Zachary.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years; daughter, Stephanie M. Lopez-Munoz and husband, Mikel, of Yorktown; sons, Jeffrey Lopez, Jason Lopez and wife, Monica, and Ken Lopez and wife, Gloria, all of Cuero; sisters, Jane Cole and husband, Rick, of Houston, Minnie Segari and husband, Jimmy, and Olivia Wright and husband, Mike, all of Houston; brother, Alfred 'Freddy' Lopez of Cuero; grandchildren, Amber N. Escobedo, Damian Lopez, Tabitha Lopez, Jacob Ryan Lopez, Michael P. Pierce, Jonathon Mercado, Alexis N. Lopez, Mason L. Lopez, Ashley K. Lopez, Jason L. Lopez Jr., Ava L. Lopez, Ethan M. Munoz, and Elias M. Munoz; great-grandchildren, Kensly M. Navarro and Julissa Gonzales; six nieces and nephews; and 14 great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents and niece, Melissa Carmona.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Friday, May 4, 2012, 10:30 a.m., at St. Michaels Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Jeffrey Lopez, Ken Lopez, Jason Lopez, Keith Wright, Henry Flores Jr., and Damian Lopez.

Honorary pallbearers include Jacob Lopez, Mason Lopez, Alexis Lopez, Ashley Lopez, Jason Lopez Jr., Ava Lopez, Ethan Munoz, and Elias Munoz.

Adolph was a great man loved by all. It is difficult to put into words what a great man he was. He will be truly missed by those he left behind.
