Obituary

Agnes Schlinke Oehlke, 91, of Goliad passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014. She was born August 29, 1922 in Cheapside to the late Oscar Schlinke, Sr. and Johanna Wolter Schlinke. Agnes married her beloved, Martin Oehlke, on December 14, 1941 in Lindenau. Agnes was an avid baker and enjoyed baking for Goliad ISD for over 20 years. She also loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with family.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Kaiser (Sydney) of Yoakum and Linda Rabke (Ralph) of Weesatche; son, Glenn Oehlke; sister, Martha Oehlke of Goliad; brother, Walter Schlinke of Nordheim; grandchildren, Brett Wright (Karen) of Falls City, Jamie Wright (Lisa) of Cuero, Andra Clark (Duane) of Cedar Park, Russell Rabke (Tiffany) of Corpus Christi, Gina Oehlke of San Antonio, Clay Oehlke of San Diego, CA, Scarlett Oehlke of Austin, and Golden Dale Oehlke of Austin; great-grandchildren, Megan Kruger (Adam) of Hutto, Cameron Wright of Floresville, Maxx Wright of Austin, Clara Rabke of Corpus Christi, Jack Holt of San Antonio, and Brooks Holt of San Antonio; and great, great-granddaughter, Makenzie Kruger of Hutto.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Bert Oehlke; sisters, Rosie Cross Johanna Wild; brothers, Oscar Jr. and Johnnie Schlinke; and grandchild, Dale Wright

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2014, 2 p.m., at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church of Weesatche with Pastor C.B. Suggs officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Lutheran Church of Weesatche and Hospice of South Texas.
