Alfredo "Momia" Muniz, 72, of Cuero, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018. He was born September 12, 1945 to the late Federico Muniz and Joaquina Munoz Cisneros. Alfredo was a surveyor and worked for the City of Cuero before becoming a handy man. One of his favorite hobbies was watching Sunday night football with friends and family.
Alfredo is survived by his daughters, Peggy Muniz of Victoria, Sandy Muniz Roman of Cuero, Beatrice Cuellar and husband, Albert, of Yoakum, and Stephanie Rodriquez and husband, Michael, of Cuero; son, Mario Gamez and wife, Julie, of Shiner; sisters, Debbie Rodriquez and husband, John, of Cuero and Diana Salinas and husband, Sam, of Victoria; and twenty five grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother and stepfather, Francisco Cisneros, of Cuero; son, Andy Muniz of Victoria; daughter, Vangie Muniz of Cuero; and brothers, Aristeo Ted Muniz of Flatonia and Federico Muniz.
