Alice Mae Duderstadt Bosart, 86, of Cuero passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016. She was born November 1, 1929 in Cuero to Hugo and Edna Mary Duderstadt. Alice married the love of her life, Matthew Louis Bosart on January 29, 1946 in Victoria. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for a number of years. Alice was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW and American Legion. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by daughter Lorraine Bosart Laut (Richard) of The Colony; son Richard Matthew Bosart (Sharon Hallenbeck) of Houston; grandchildren, Kim Bothager of Fort Worth, Mark Ashley of Lexington, KY, Dianne Ellison of The Colony, Christopher Laut of The Colony; and 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents Hugo Ferdinand Duderstadt and Edna Mary Luder Duderstadt; husband Matthew Louis Bosart; and sister Elsie Duderstadt. Visitation and Service will be Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Freund Funeral Home from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. with Services beginning at 2 p.m., Pastor Sharon Wiggins officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Laut, Christopher Laut, David Bosart, Pete Duderstadt, Darwyn Duderstadt and Lawrence Striedel. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
