Alton Ray Cielencki, 60, of Westhoff passed away Friday, September 14, 2012. He was born on June 28, 1952 in San Antonio, Texas to the late George and Agnes Cielencki. He married his beloved wife, Sherry Uhl, on June 2, 1990 in Sutherland Springs, TX. Alton was a Superintendent of Watershed Operations for the San Antonio River Authority.

He is survived by his mother, Agnes Cielencki; wife Sherry Cielencki; daughter, Beverly Pryor; sons, Raymond Cielencki, George Cielencki and wife, Mandy, and Will Bob Iams and wife, Jane; sister, Jenette Kosub and husband, Vincent; brother, Gregory Cielencki and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Ricki Michelle, Paul, Zeke, and Dru.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 16, 2012 from 6-8 pm with a rosary starting at 7pm, at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Monday, September 17, 2012 at 10 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with Father David Berger officiating. Interment will follow at Westhoff Cemetery.

Pallbearers include George Cielencki, Jon Morneau, Will Bob Iams, James Sanchez, Mark Matula, and Rick Scherlen.

Honorary pallbearers include Leon Schubar, Harvey Wiatrek, Frances Pavliska, and James Blair.
