Amalia "Mollie" D. Renteria, 68, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014. She was born April 1, 1945 to Manuela Trevino and the late Alfonso Diaz. She married her late husband, Ismael M. Renteria on September 9, 1959 in Cuero. Amalia was a seamstress and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa A. Rivera of Warsaw, Indiana and Diana R. Johnson of Cuero and sons, Walter D. Renteria of Victoria and Jason D. Renteria of Cibolo, and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; her beloved husband; son, Randy L. Renteria; brothers, Alfonso Diaz Jr. and Moises Trevino; and sister, Linda D. Renteria.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. and the memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Reverend Dan Cancino officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Jerusalem Baptist Church.
