Andrew Galindo Jr, 63, of Cuero passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023.  He was born May 17, 1960 in Cuero to the late Concepcion Gonzales and Andrew Galindo Sr.  Andy married Lydia Guerra on November 11, 1988 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cuero.  He was a truckdriver for many years until he retired to enjoy time with his family.  Andy had a passion for racing and fishing and loved his time at the casino.  He had a special talent in making someone's trash into a treasure.  Andy was also a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Andy is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Lydia Galindo; daughter, Stephanie (Kerry) Franklin of Cuero; sons, Eric (Gina) Corpus of Cuero, Derrick (Miranda) Corpus of Cuero, and Jeremy (Kerrie) Galindo of Gonzales; sister, Debra "Debbie" Grahmann of Cuero; brother, Adam Galindo of Cuero; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his furry sidekick, Baby Galindo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sylvia Garibay and Judith Rodriguez; and brother, Danny Galindo.

Visitation will be held at Freund Funeral Home on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm with a rosary beginning at 6:30 pm. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, October 10, 2023, 10:30 am, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Richard Bediako officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Charles Klavemann, Michael Villa, Chandler Fox, Nathan Corpus, Roy "Bubba" Franke and Drake Corpus.

Honorary Pallbearers include Donovan Franklin, Edward Orsak, Morgan Rios, and Henry Nunez.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cuero Volunteer Fire Department.
