Angelita "Angie" Campos, 71, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2017. She was born December 29, 1945 in Yorktown to the late Reynaldo Lopez Sr. and Ramona Garza Lopez. She was a homemaker and caregiver, and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Campos Saldaña and husband, Joseph, of Cuero; son, Enrique "Rick" Gutierrez and wife, Leticia, of Round Rock; sisters, Rosie Lopez Rios of Yorktown, Tammy Lopez Greider of Lubbock, and Toni Martinez of Victoria; brothers, Danny Lopez and wife, Adela, of Victoria, Rey Lopez Jr. and wife, Lori, of California, Roy Lopez of California, Joe Lopez of Victoria, and Jesse Lopez of Edna; and grandchildren, Justin Gutierrez, Sara Gutierrez, Zaden Ruiz, Amariss Ruiz, Jacob Gutierrez, Drayvin Ruiz, Zander Ruiz, and Alivia Saldaña.

She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life, Angel Campos Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, July 7, 2017, 10 am., at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Garland Shanklin officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Placencio Sr., Genaro Rios Jr., Justin Gutierrez, Zaden Ruiz, Sammy Campos, John Cabellero Jr., and Frankie Garza. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
