Obituary
Anita Johanna Afflerbach Boethel, 94, of Cuero passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011. She was born October 21, 1917 in DeWitt County to the late Edward C. & Anna Bade Afflerbach. She married the late Woodrow F. Boethel on November 30, 1940. She worked for J.C. Penney for over 14 years.
She is survived by her sons, Woodrow H. Boethel Sr. & Richard G. Boethel Sr., both of Cuero; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 15 at Freund Funeral Home Chapel from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Lindenau Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Lindenau Cemetery or St. John's Lutheran Church, Lindenau.
