Ann E. Hoffmann, 86, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014.  She was born August 3, 1927, in Woodsboro to the late Alex W. Piehl and Klara Sommer.  Ann married her late husband, Willie Hoffmann Jr., on August 29, 1945, in Woodsboro.  Ann was a member of Zion Lutheran Women of the ELCA, FCE of Arneckville, Heirloom Stitchers Guild, and Zion Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sons, Fred, Harold, and Robert Hoffmann; grandsons, Brett and Geoffrey Hoffmann; granddaughter, Robbie Ann Birch; great-grandsons Erich Hoffmann and Erich Birch; and great-granddaughters, Rebecca Ann Hoffman, Abigail Hoffman, and Kai Birch.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 10, 2014, 10:00 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Barbara Beale officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
