Annie Laurie Chiros, 95, of Cuero, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017. She was born on December 8, 1921 in Cuero to the late Rollie W. Simon, Sr. and Adella Gabrysh Simon. She married Ronald Chiros on August 22, 1946 in Houston. During their marriage, they traveled to many countries, including Japan, where she helped teach English. Annie owned a small antique business, which was a passion of hers. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and Hermann Sons.

Annie is survived by her nephew, Ted C. Simon and wife, Sandra; great nephew, Shane Simon and wife, Kathy; great niece, Tina Welch and husband, Jeremy; great great nephews, Kaden Simon and Triton Simon; great great nieces, Sarah Simon and Madison Welch; and her sister in law, Erna Lee Simon.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald; sister, Barbara Gayden; Brothers, Rollie W. Simon, Jr. and T.C. Simon, Sr.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic church with the Rosary being read at 10:30 a.m. Services will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Jasper Liggio officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Ted Simon, Shane Simon, Kaden Simon, Triton Simon, Jeremy Welch, and Ronnie Slovacek.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael's Catholic Church or to the Charity of the donor's choice.
