Obituary
Aubrey J. Pate, 82, of Cuero passed away Monday, October 12, 2009. He was born February 12, 1927 in Gonzales to the late Lester and Hallie Dubose Pate. He served in the United States Navy and married Jennie Beard in Gonzales on November 9, 1946.
Aubrey is survived by his loving wife of 62 years; daughters, Peggy Lee Vorse and Jackie Lynn Gardner, both of Pasadena; sons, Derrel Wayne Pate of Deer Park and Roger Dale Pate of Fairfield, Iowa; four sisters; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 16, 2009, 2 p.m., at Saturn Cemetery in Saturn with Pastor David Washburn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Assembly of God Church, Cuero.
