Obituary
CUERO - Bennie C. Richerson, 76, of Cuero, passed away Friday, April 17, 2009. He was born Dec. 8, 1932, in Cuero, to the late Tommie Richerson and Lillie Marshall Richerson. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a laborer and a waiter.
He is survived by his grandson, Benny Richerson Jr. of Dallas, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Benny Richerson Sr.; sisters, Laura Bell Burden, Martha Nell Williams, Estella Gardner, and Gloria Slade; and brother, Roy Lee Williams.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 24, 2009, at Freund Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at Freund Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lou Terry Jackson. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery.
