Betsy Pape Young, 71, of Cuero passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014.  She was born December 21, 1942, in Seguin to Hollis and Bettie Baker Rentz.  Betsy married her beloved husband, Henry Young, on February 9, 1959.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Peggy Young and Lori Hearn; sons, Tracy and Richard Young; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2014, at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Walden officiating.  Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery in Stratton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stratton Primitive Baptist Church.
