Betty Joyce Bade, 90, of Cuero passed away Friday, February 6, 2026. She was born in Cuero on July 20, 1935 to the late John H. and Minnie Demmer Junker. Betty married the love of her life, Marvin August Bade, on September 7, 1951 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Cuero. Betty served in every office of the Cuero Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and was a member of Herman Sons and TPA. Betty was also a devoted member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and volunteered at every opportunity. She took great joy in time spent with her family and in the many years of traveling throughout all 50 states with Marvin.
Betty is survived by her children, Karen (Mark) Henneke, Brenda (David) Arndt, Augie (Karen) Bade, and Rodney (Dawn) Bade, all of Cuero; sister-in-law, Mabel Bade Mazoch; grandchildren, Linda (Bo) Poling of Portland, Jennifer (Jamie) Parr of Cuero, Kimberly (Chad) Starkey of Cuero, Amanda (Mikey) Rodriguez of Yorktown, Stephanie (Matt) Rauch of Cuero, Jason (Rachel) Bade of Cuero, Marvin W.
