Obituary
Betty Jo Garland, 80, of Victoria passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010. She was born June 27, 1930 in San Antonio to the late Julius J. Biediger and Jospehine Biediger Tschirhart. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company after 30 years of service. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers, the Altar Society, and Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Garland; her parents; brother, Kenneth A. Biediger; and nephew, David A. Biediger.
She is survived by caregivers and special friends, Slade Doehrman and Sylvia Jacob; and many loving nieces and nephews.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of Main Street Personal Care.
A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Meyersville. Funeral mass will begin at 10:30 a.m.
