Mrs. Betty J. Rangnow Barnett, 78, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2019.  She was born July 31, 1940 in Cuero to the late Edwin Louis Rangnow Jr. and Margaret Jane Rangnow.  Betty married Ronald H. Barnett on July 30, 1981 in Cuero.  She was a housewife and also worked in bookkeeping, nursing, and real estate.

Betty is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ronald H. Barnett of Cuero; daughter, Tammy C. Wisser of Rockport; son, Lonnie R. Lassmann of San Antonio; daughter-in-law, Shelley Lassmann of San Antonio; sisters, Nancy G. Rangnow of Rockport and Marsha L. Rangnow of Corpus Christi; brothers, Dorian E. Rangnow of Rockport and Darrell G. Rangnow of Victoria; brother-in-law, Billy J. Lee of Rockport; sisters-in-law, Janis Rangnow of Rockport and Carol Rangnow of Victoria; and grandchildren, Trevor D. Lassmann and Mason G. Lassmann, both of San Antonio, Katelyn Wisser and John T. Wisser, both of Rockport, and Sadie Lassmann and Braden Lassmann, both of San Antonio.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Sandy K. Lassmann Krause.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
