Brian Lee Heil, 56, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022. He was born on December 11, 1965 in Cuero to Judy Bitterly Heil and the late Leroy Heil. Brian married Diana Mireles on June 19, 2015 in Cuero. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, a loyal Cuero Gobbler fan, and had a love for baseball and basketball. Brian was always up to trying new recipes for baking and cooking, and loved surprising his family with his famous ribs. Brian's passion as an LVN of 17 years was to make sure his residents were loved and cared for, as he always made sure their needs were met first. He loved special occasions, was always ready to attend family events and cherished spending time with his family, friends, and his love, Diana.
Brian is survived by his wife, Diana Mireles Heil; mother, Judy Bitterly Heil; daughters, Stephanie Heil of Cuero, Christina (Martin Jr.) Munoz of Yorktown, Alyse (Wesley) Pauler of Yoakum, and Misty (David) Miller of Houston; son, Marcos (Crystal) Arguellez of Victoria; sister, Susan (Michael) Gallaway of Cuero; brother, Kevin (Michelle) Heil of Meyersville; ten grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Heil.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022, 9 am, at Freund Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 10 am with Pastor Terry Glover officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Austin Gallaway, Wesley Gallaway, Jerry Mireles, Martin Munoz Jr., Marcos Arguellez, and Wesley Pauler. Honorary pallbearers include Michael Chavez and the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff of Hospice of South Texas.
