Butler William Kirkwood Jr., 69, of Chilton passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012. He was born on August 11, 1943 in Beeville to the late Butler W. Sr. and Dorthy Kirkwood. He married his beloved wife Marion Kirkwood on May 15, 1999 in Chilton. He worked as a surveyor for Knife Rivers of Waco.

He is survived by his wife, Marion Kirkwood of 13 years; daughters, Melinda Brewer and husband, John, of Cuero and Marilyn Stock and husband, David, of Cuero; step-daughters, Carol Charles and husband, Jason, of New London, TX and Donna Kirkwood of Austin; step-son, Billy Blevins of Santa Fe, TX; Brother-in-law, Belvin Cantrell of Tacoma, WA; grandchildren, Clayton Stock and wife, Amy, of Aransas Pass, Heather Stock of Cuero, and Alyssa Fric of Cuero; step-granddaughter, Samantha Corbett of Austin; great-grandchildren, Caden R. Stock of Aransas Pass, Adyson Perez of Cuero, and Faith Fric of Cuero.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Beverly Kirkwood and Lorrie Kirkwood Fountain; and brother, Roger Kirkwood.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 7, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Farmer officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Clayton Stock, Benjamin Keenan, Weston Keenan, Jason Charles, Tommy Terry, Billy Blevins, and Clifton R. "Gippy" Gips.
