Obituary
CUERO - Calvin L. Massey, 87, of Cuero, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009, at his home. He was born Nov. 28, 1921, and married the late Elsie Gerhold in San Antonio. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his sons, Calvin L. Massey Jr., Donald E. Massey, Stephen D. Massey, and Royce A. Massey; sister, Lorrain Bolding; four grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, five sisters, and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27, at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at Freund Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dave Rodgers officiating. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
