Carolyn Ray Taylor Webb, 67, of Cuero passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011 in San Antonio. She was born October 14, 1943 in Cuero to the late Jesse James and Ellie Irene Boone Taylor. She married her late husband, Johnny Wayne Webb, in July 1960 in San Antonio. Carolyn retired from the Cuero Housing Authority after 17 years where she served as the director.
She is survived by her daughters, Candy Marrou and husband, Lane, of Calallen and Vicki Farias and husband, Michael, of San Antonio; son, Randy Webb and wife, Amanda, of Corpus Christi; sisters, Dorothy DeLeon and husband, Robert, of Cuero and Patsy Kuecker of Cuero; brother, James Taylor and wife, Betty, of Cuero; grandchildren, Tyler Marrou and Dustin Marrou, both of Calallen, Taylor Webb and Ty Webb, both of Corpus Christi, and Courtney Farias of San Antonio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Johnny Wayne Webb.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2011, 10 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Tyler Marrou, Dustin Marrou, Lane Marrou, Taylor Webb, Ty Webb, and Michael Farias, with Courtney Gayle Farias as an honorary pallbearer.
