Carylon Ann Howell, age 78, peacefully passed away on March 25, 2021 after a long fight with Alzheimer's. Carylon was born in August of 1942 to Herman and Beatrice as the second of six children. She married her best friend and love, Bill, in May 1989. They enjoyed a long life of traveling, laughing and serving God. They spent every day together until her passing.
Carylon was blessed with an angelic voice and an incredible musical talent. She sang in the church choir and played the piano, flute, guitar and ukulele. She had an inviting smile and a contagious laugh that she carried with her when spending time with those she loved. Her relationship with God, family and friends meant everything to her and she displayed those beliefs with her actions in her everyday life.
Carylon leaves behind her loving husband, Bill; daughter, Jeanine and Chris Coppedge; son, David and Julia Wehmeyer; brother, Dennis Byerly; sister, Betty and Roy Harrison; sister, Kathryn and Chuck Schneider; grandchildren, Ashton (Anthony) Rios, Alicia, Connor, Olivia, Grayson; and great-grandson, Jace.
Carylon will lie in state on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 1 to 5 pm at Freund Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, 1 pm, at Trinity Church Cuero, Cuero, TX.
