Cecilia Gonzales Navarro, 89, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019.  She was born October 22, 1929 to the late Claudio Gonzales and Paula Amador.  She married Esidro Navarro Sr. September 16, 1946 in Corpus Christi.

She is survived by her sons, Jessie (Dottie) Rodriguez of Houston, Tommy Joe (Connie) Navarro of Lockhart, Ruben (Minerva) Navarro of San Juan and Marco Navarro of Victoria; daughters, Lupe (Antonio Jr.) Garcia of Yorktown, Cristina Navarro of Victoria, April Navarro of Victoria and Mari Navarro of Yorktown; sisters, Tomasita Gonzales of Refugio, Margaret (Roger) Glass of Pasadena, Mary (Curtis) Gisler of Mission Valley, Esmeralda (Alfred) Anzaldua of Cuero, Molley R. Abbitt; brothers, Joe Gonzales of Cuero, Claudio (Mary Alice) Gonzales Jr. of Cuero, Jesse (Elsie) Gonzales of Cuero; Five generations of many beloved grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life Esidro Navarro Sr.; sons, Reymundo Navarro and Esidro Navarro Jr.; and her parents.

Visitation will be Friday, February 15, 2019  from 5 to7 pm with a rosary to begin at 6:30 pm at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019, 10am at Our Lady of Guadalupe with Father Jacob Mendoza officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Dylan Naranjo, Antonio Garcia III, Alfred Anzaldua, Jimmy Garcia, Preston Navarro and Jesse Rodriguez Jr.
