Charles Woodrow Garrett, 89, of Cuero, TX died Tuesday July 9, 2013. He was born Feb. 20, 1924 in Placedo Junction, TX to the late Claude and Louise Marcha Garrett. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cuero and served in the US Navy during WWII. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Yvonne Garrett of Cuero, daughters Dianna Lynn Garrett Dum of Yorktown, Kathleen A. Garrett Yoss of Cuero, son Thedford E. Garrett of Southwest City, MO. brother Melvin Garrett of Port Lavaca, seven granddaughters and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday July 11, 2013 at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10 am Friday July 12, 2013 at Freund Funeral Home with Dr. Glen Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Pallbearers include Allan Sklar II, David Bain, Kenneth Rebel, Jim Yoss, Brian Olsovsky, and Jim Wiest. Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church.
