Charles 'Chuck' Teddy Sprague, 48, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2010. He was born July 27, 1961 in Iowa City, Iowa and grew up in Rockport, Texas. He graduated Rockport Fulton High School in 1979 and served in the Navy for 8 years. There he learned to cook and drive a truck. Truck driving was his passion. He drove an 18-wheeler cross country for the last 24 years.

He is survived by wife, Donna Sprague of Florida; daughter, Stephanie Sprague of Indiana; stepdaughters, Alicia Deeson and Stephine Ellerbe of Florida; adopted daughter, Jody Salinas and husband, Juan, of Rockport; adopted son, James Chadwick and wife, Julie, of Rockport; grandchildren, Eric Alexander, Erianie Alexis Nicole, Eric David Colon Sprague, Alexander Ellerbe, Jimmy, Benjamin, Sebastian, and Texanne Chadwick, and Brianna and Damian Salinas; sons in law, Eric Colon and Jacob Ellerbe; future son in law, Mark Yule; sister and brother in law, Beverly and Ray Robertson of Rockport; and brother, George Sprague of Rockport.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church in Rockport on Friday, June 25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
