Obituary
CUERO - Christobal "Chris" M. Sanchez, 88, of Cuero, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009. He was born March 21, 1921, in Cuero, to the late Maria Martinez and Severiano Sanchez. He served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Perez Sanchez; daughters, Irene Romero of Cuero, Patsy Duarte(Edward) of Waco, and Manuela Ramos (Nat) of Victoria; son, Guadalupe Sanchez of Tacoma, Wash.; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Senero Sanchez and Manuel Sanchez.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, March 24, 2009, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Freund Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the chapel, with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at San Isidro Cemetery.
