Christopher Rickman, 37, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2012. He was born January 19, 1975 in Cuero to the late Barbara Laqua. He was a handyman and worked in the oilfield. He loved his two girls and was a great dad. He loved his nieces and nephews and family was important to him. He liked to fish and would always help people with anything they needed.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Christina Sanders; daughters, Aliyah Rickman and Katelyn Rickman; sisters, Christi Rickman and husband, Alvin Ebrom, of Cuero and Tina Kaelin and husband, Nathan, of Fort Carson; and brothers, James Rickman of Yorktown and Robert Rickman and wife, Alma, of Cuero.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Laqua and grandparents, Julia and Stayton Caraway.
Services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012, 10 a.m., at Freund Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Westhoff Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Robert Rickman, James Rickman, Alvin Ebrom, Mark Crawley, Ronnie Pressler, and Michael Granger.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Caraway and Butch Caraway.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freund Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
