Clarence Guzman Jr., 71, of Cuero passed away Friday, September 17, 2021. He was born February 20, 1950 to the late Ricarda and Clarence Guzman Sr. Clarence graduated Lubbock High School with a track scholarship to South Plains College. He was a contract landscaper. Clarence lived in Lubbock; however his love for his family brought him back to Cuero to be closer to his grandchildren.

Clarence is survived by daughters, Barbara Blackburn of Rotan, Amanda Salazar (Daniel) of Cuero, and Maegan Guzman (Robert Hall) of Texas City; brother, Louis Guzman (Debbie) of Rockport; ten grandchildren: Lauren, Jay, Drake, Markus, Maraya, Ryan, Sean Dylan, Kobie, Kaileb, and Khloe; and one great granddaughter, Paisley Clanton.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10 am at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Brown officiating.
