Cleo Paul Wendel, 85, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017. He was born June 20, 1931 in Meyersville to the late Paul and Elfie Diebel Wendel. Cleo married the love of his life, Josephine Vrazel, on September 16, 1950 in Meyersville. Daddy went to be with Jesus and he can SEE now! He loved God, his family and friends, history and our country. He treasured a good conversation on any subject with anyone. He was an avid reader, reading hundreds of books especially the Bible narrated by Alexander Scorbey. The "Cuero Mens Prayer Meeting" has always held a special place in his heart.
