Clyde Lee Breeden Sr., 79, of Cuero, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009. He was born Dec. 17, 1929, in Smithville, to Ollie Breeden and Gladys Kelly Breeden. He married Marjorie Lincke Breeden on Oct. 26, 1990 in Cuero. He was an oilfield consultant and enjoyed riding his Harley and fishing. He served in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife; daughter, De Andra Breeden of Austin; stepdaughter, Lorie Lucas of Cuero; sons, Clyde Breeden Jr. of Marble Falls, Charles Breeden of McAllen, and Clarence Breeden of Gatesville; stepson, Larry Lucas of Cuero; seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Clayton Breeden of McAllen and Nathan Roy of Lafayette, La.
Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009 at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at Freund Funeral Home with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Keith Richardson, B.J. Drehr, Jeff McMahan, Don Wendel, Kevin Koenig, and Clint Clark.
Honorary pallbearers are Rueben Gohmert, Ralph Egg, Chester Lucas, Floyd Bohne, and all of his Harley-riding buddies.
Memorials may be made to Accolade Hospice in Yoakum, American Cancer Society , and St. Michael's School.
