Consepcion M. Galindo, 71, of Cuero passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. She was born on April 12, 1939 in Cuero to the late Consepcion and Leopoldo Gonzales, Sr. Consepcion married Andrew Galindo Sr. on May 5, 1958 in Cuero. She worked at Textile Industries and Gulf Bend for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years; daughters, Sylvia (Vincent) Garibay, Judith Ann (Judy) Rodriguez, and Debra (Brian) Grahmann, all of Cuero; sons, Andy (Lydia) Galindo and Adam (Lydia) Galindo, both of Cuero; sister, Erlinda Trevino of Cuero; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daniel Galindo; sisters, Isabel Fernandez, Janie Perez, and Petra Rivera; and brothers, Salvador Gonzales and Leopoldo Gonzales Jr.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, January 27, 2011, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cuero with Father Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Jeremy Galindo, David Rodriguez Jr., Ben Mejia, Daniel J. Galindo, Ismael Galindo Jr., and Israel Galindo. Honorary pallbearers will be Leo Galindo III, Blake Grahmann, and Rudy Perez.
