Cosme G. Maldonado, 72 of Cuero, passed away on Wednesday, January 1,2014. He was born on February 10, 1941 in Cuero Texas to Jose Maldonado and Dolores Garcia.

He is survived by his sons; Albert Maldonado (Mary) of Seguin, Alfred Maldonado of Seguin, and Jamie Maldonado of Seguin, daughters; Alicia Lopez of Comanche, and Rosemary Salazar of Seguin, sisters; Rosita M. Hernandez of Victoria, Elena M. Licon of Cuero, and Dolores Perez of Victoria, brothers; Moises G. Maldonado of Kingsville, Domingo G. Maldonado of Yoakum, and Jose Maldonado of Westhoff, 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter; Gracie Lopez, sisters; Marcelina Rios, Frances Rodriguez, and Manuela Estrada, brothers; Raymond G. Maldonado, Guadalupe G. Maldonado, Frank G. Maldonado, and Nicolas G. Maldonado.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Father David Berger officiating.
