Daniel Lee Machacek, 57, of Cuero passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024.  He was born October 15, 1967 in Patuxent River, Maryland to Joan Catherine Koehler Machacek and the late Anton David Machacek.  Daniel married Anna Marie Lopez on September 8, 2012 in Goliad.  He was a Senior Master Technician, and worked for Aztec Ford, formerly VonDohlen Motor Co. of Goliad from 1988 to 2021.  He enjoyed furniture restoration, and loved to sing and play the piano at various churches and nursing homes.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Anna Machacek; mother, Joan Catherine Machacek; stepdaughters, Kathryn Bazar and husband, Cole, and Amanda Torres and husband, T; brother, David Machacek and husband, Jeff; brother-in-law, Tim Muehlbrad; and step-grandchildren, Alejandro Gutierrez, Elena Torres, and Joaquin Torres.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anton Machacek and sister, Catherine Muehlbrad.

Visitation will begin at 1 pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Cuero on Friday, November 15, 2024.  Funeral services will begin at 2 pm with Pastor Jay Fleming officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Cuero.

Pallbearers include David Machacek, Tim Muehlbrad, Alejandro Gutierrez, Paul Muehlbrad, Sidney Kubenka, John David VonDohlen, Cliff Litwornia, and Tim Rangnow.

Memorial contributions may be made to Victoria Christian Assistance Ministry or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
