Daniel Wayne Squyres, 37, of Cuero passed away Friday, August 5, 2022.  He was born on October 19, 1984 in Cuero to the late Betty Saunders Squyres and Joe Squyres Sr.  Daniel was a graduate from Cuero High School and worked as a service tech. He was a quiet, but sweet person who will be missed by all who knew him.

Daniel is survived by his sister, Tracy Pressler of Cuero; brothers, Trevor Squyres and Ronnie Pressler (Linda), both of Cuero; stepmother, Eva Squyres of Cuero; stepbrothers, Larry Garibay III and Brian Barbontin, both of Cuero; ten nieces and nephews; and seven great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Saunders Squyres; father, Joe Squyres Sr.; and brothers, Joe Squyres Jr. and Chad Franke.

Visitation will begin at 9 AM on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Freund Funeral Home with a service to follow at 10:00 AM with Pastor Lewis Cremeans officiating.  Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Jeffrey Molands, Alvin Ebrom, Randolph Henkes, Brian Barbontin, Trevor Squyres, and Ryan Pressler.
