On Monday, October 12, 2020, Daryl Bluntzer, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at the age of 62. He was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico but spent the majority of his life in Cuero, Texas and served the area for many years as a skilled diesel mechanic. Daryl had a passion for cars; there was a special place in his heart for his Chevy Nova. He had great love for his family, as they did for him. If you knew him well, you were lucky enough to enjoy his witty sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife Deborah; his two children, Kristopher and Kelly; his stepchildren,  Keith, Richard, and Dakota; and grandchildren,  Jade, Zephyr, Wesley, Madison, Mason, Montana, Kenlee, Luke, Aubree, and Natalie.

Daryl was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Bluntzer; and his mother, Rita Muyres Bluntzer.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 16, 2020, 5-7 PM at Freund Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 17, 2020, 10 AM at Freund Funeral Home with Terry Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Meyersville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freund Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.

Pallbearers include Floyd Sullivan, David Cortez, Kyle Sievers, Roger Schustereit, Jeremy Kurtz and EJ Nesloney.
