Crafton - David Wayne Sigsbee, 58, passed away Tuesday, December 09, 2008 in Victoria, Texas. He was born February 10, 1950, in Victoria, to the late John Winford (Jimmie) and Inez Tillery Sigsbee. He graduated from Victoria High School in 1968 and continued his education at Del Mar College, graduating in 1971 with his degree in Marine Science. He received his Engineering degree in 1975 from the University of Houston. David was an engineer for Houston Lighting and Power and retired to Crafton, Texas, to live peacefully in the country.

He is survived by his children, Dr. Jennifer Lynn Gonzales and husband Arthur of Cuero, Jeffrey Keith Sigsbee and wife Mandy of Crafton, and Paul Andrew Sigsbee and wife Jill of McKinney; grandchildren, Kayeli Faith Sigsbee, Elizabeth Inez Gonzales, Peyton Grace Sigsbee and baby, Noah David Sigsbee on the way.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jim Sigsbee.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 14, 2008 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Family Funeral Home in Bowie, Texas. Services will be Monday, December 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Family Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Crafton Cemetery in Crafton.
