David A. Trevino, 72 of Cuero, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013. He was born on August 14, 1941 in Wharton, Texas to Ernest Trevino and Francis Aguero Trevino. He married his beloved Maggie Aguilar on September 9, 2008 in Cuero. The beloved mother of his children is Beatrice Ramos (Lupe Monroy - Stepfather). David was a member of New Testament Holiness Church and was a painting contractor for 50 years. He enjoyed wood work art, and working in the yard.
He is survived by his wife, sons; David Trevino of San Antonio, and Jonathan Trevino of Colorado daughters; Irene Trevino of Cuero, and Vivian Trevino of Victoria; step-daughter; Juanita, and step-sons; Saragosa and Ambrosio. Other family members include: sisters, Lilian Aguillar, Belia Morado, Minerva A Garcia, and brother; Oscar Navarro, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Armando Navarro.
Pallbearers will include; Sanford Trevino Jr., Sanford Trevino III, Jesus Reynaldo Jr., Pedro Rodriguez Jr., Anthony Paul Trevino, John Garza, and Nathan Ray Corpus.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 19, 2013 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, December 20, 2013 at 10 a.m. at New Testament Holiness Church in Cuero. Pastor Calvin Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
