On Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 5:57 am David Washburn passed away in Sutherland Springs at the age of 84. David was born August 16, 1938 in Brownwood to parents, Walter Antonio and Elsie Mae (Cunningham) Washburn.  David married Patricia Eaves on July 27, 1956 and together they had three sons, Robert, Wendell, and Gerald.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elsie Washburn; his brothers, Arnold Washburn and Jimmy Washburn; and his wife, Patricia Washburn.

David is survived by his wife, Carol ; children, Robert Washburn, Wendell Washburn (Amy), and Gerald Washburn (Susan); grandchildren, Russell Washburn (Teresa), Joseph Washburn (Heather), Josh Washburn (Carrie), Katelynn Erwin (Seth), Daniel Washburn, Patrick Washburn (Audrey), Shawn Washburn, and Grace Washburn; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date.
