Debra Kay Gallaway, 65, of Moulton went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022.  She was born on July 2, 1957 in Texas City to Lloyd and Joyce Green Gallaway.

After becoming a nurse in 1983, her love and passion for her profession grew into countless hours spent caring for patients and devoting many years to taking care of others. She took great pride in her position as Director of Nursing at Avalon Place Nursing Home in Trinity.  She enjoyed gardening, crafts, crocheting, baking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her father, Lloyd Gallaway; daughters, Stacey (Randall) Dworaczyk and Kristen Herrmann; son, Brandon Herrmann; brothers, Darrell Gallaway and Michael (Susan) Gallaway; grandchildren, Taylor Shelton, Tyler Shelton, Brianna Shelton, Branson Herrmann, Haleigh Herrmann, Joseph Dworaczyk and Jacob Dworaczyk; and great-grandchildren, Branson "Jr" Herrmann and Paisley Shelton.  She was also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as Alex "Tate" Rice and Veda Fuson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Nelms.

Pallbearers include Joseph Dworaczyk, Jacob Dworaczyk, Tyler Shelton, Branson Herrmann, Austin Gallaway and Ricky Gallaway.

Honorary pallbearers include Alex "Tate" Rice, Taylor Shelton, Haleigh Herrmann, and Brianna Shelton.
