Delfino Galindo, 58, of Cuero, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2011. He was born Dec. 25, 1952, in Meyersville, to the late Anicasio and Eufemia Galindo, both of Cuero. In 1974, he married Lupe Gomez in Cuero. He was an oilfield worker for D&B in Cuero. He loved to do mechanic work, gardening, camping, swimming and cooking. He also enjoyed the bible.
He is survived by his wife, Lupe Galindo; son, Kevin Galindo (Amanda) and Michael Galindo, both of Cuero; sisters, Mary Galindo, Margie Hernandez, Mary Helen Mejia, and Sylvia Galindo, all of Cuero; brother, Victor Galindo of Cuero; and grandchildren, Dallin Galindo and Ice Galindo, both of Cuero.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Domingo Galindo and Pete Galindo.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at Freund Funeral Home with Pastor John Mueller officiating.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Galindo, Michael Galindo, Bo Birchum, Michael Ortiz, Eli Garibay, Michael Delgado, Mark Austin, and Brian Dlugosch.
Honorary pallbearers will be Amanda Galindo, Dallin Galindo, Ice Galindo, Jesse Gomez, Joe Gomez, Victor Galindo, Calvin Gomez, Albert Gonzalez, and Steven Deleon.
