Obituary
Della Mae Sauer, 85, of Cuero, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017. She was born November 14, 1931 in Nordheim to the late Julius Boerm and Helen Fuhrken Boerm . Della Mae was a graduate of Nordheim High School in 1949. On October 19, 1952 she married Verlin William Sauer at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Yorktown.
Della Mae is survived by her son, Kirby Sauer and wife, Audrey, of Cuero; three grandchildren, Travis Sauer of San Antonio, Megan Panek and husband, Alex, of Colorado Springs, CO and Jared Sauer of Cuero.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 9 a.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will immediately follow at 10 a.m. with Barbara Beale officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Memorial contribution may be made to the donor's choice.
