Delmira Lozano Maldonado, 86, of Cuero passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024.  She was born September 10, 1937 in Realitos, TX to Frank and Cipriana Rodriguez Lozano.   She married Frank Maldonado in DeLeon.  She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.  She enjoyed raising her children, cooking for her family and she loved to see her brothers and sisters when they came to visit her.

She is survived by her daughters, Cipriana Maldonado, Dora Puente, Esmeralda Coronado, Adelina Maldonado and Lisa Maldonado; her sons, Tony Maldonado, Rudy Maldonado, Hector Maldonado, Phillip Maldonado, Eddie Maldonado, Fred Maldonado, Roy Maldonado, David Maldonado and Jassen Maldonado; sisters, Vera Lozano, Sylvia Key and Janie Braton; brothers, Frank Lozano, Rudy Lozano, Victor Lozano; thirty three grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; brothers, Ovidio Lozano, Amedeo Lozano, Roy Lozano and Ray Lozano.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024, 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with a rosary to begin at 1:45 PM.  Funeral Mass will begin at 2:15 PM with Father Jacob Mendoza officiating.  Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.

Pallbearers include JC Maldonado, Edward Maldonado, Blake Maldonado, Ethan Maldonado, Matthew Maldonado and Robert Puente.

Honorary Pallbearers include her granddaughters.
