Diana Louis Maltony, 80, passed away Monday, March 5, 2018. She was born February 28, 1938 to the late Benjamin and Louise Meadows in Fort Worth. On December 10, 1955, Diana married the love of her life, in Denton. Diana was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and gardening. Diana's greatest joy came from spending time with family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She retired from Cuero ISD after serving many years as a teachers aid and nurses aid.
Diana is survived by her daughter, Vickie Arrell (Rocky) of Cuero; son, David Maltony (Lisa) of Seguin; sister, Suzanne Meadows; brother, Harold Meadows (Gerri) of South Fork, Co; her grandchildren, Marlayna McKinley (Tim Sheffel) of Cuero, Ryan McKinley of Cuero, Tyler McKinley (fiancé, Ciara Miller) of Austin, Eric Arrell of Graham, Lisa Budarf (Jim) of Graham, Marlin Maltony (Leah) of Seguin, and Reed Maltony (fiancé, Hannah Schievelbein) of Seguin; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 57 years.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Cuero with Reverend Bill Cotman officiating. A time of food and fellowship will follow at 3 p.m. at the church fellowship hall.
Honorary pallbearers will include Diana's grand children and great grandchildren, Trey, Jackson, Easton, Eli, Ean, Eliza, and Hannah.
