Dianna Kay Hunnam Laging, 65, of Cuero passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011. She was born on May 4, 1945 in Del Rio to the late Henry and Elorine Mueller Hunnam. She married her beloved husband, Carwin 'Dutch' Laging, on January 30, 1965 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Cuero. Dianna and Dutch were business owners in the oil and gas industry for 27 yrs. They shared a love and passion for travel and making friends across the country in their RV. Dianna and Dutch treasured God's gift of their land of cattle, their pecan orchards, and, most of all, Dianna's creation of artistic masterpieces during travel and at home. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and participating in their many activities. She was a wonderful wife, beloved mother, proud grandmother, and a beautiful friend. Dianna will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years; son, Kirk Laging and wife, Polly, of Cuero; brother, James G. Hunnam and wife, Jean, of Cuero; sister-in-law, Linda Hunnam of Cuero; and grandchildren, Claire and Garrett Laging, both of Cuero.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ranny Hunnam.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 16, 2011, 3:00 p.m., at First Baptist Church in Cuero.
