Obituary

Dolores "Dolly" Hadamek Caraway, 84, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015. She was born February 9, 1931 in DeWitt County to the late Sebuse E. and Hattie Kroll Hadamek. She married the late Tillman G. Caraway on September 18, 1948 in Cuero. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church and an active member of Pilot Club International. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, living life, and making memories with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She is survived by her son, Donald "Donnie" Caraway and wife Rovonna; sisters, Elnora Juerk (John) of Gonzales, Helen Bulgerin (Jimmy) of Cuero; brother, Albert Hadamek (Ida) of Waller; grandchildren, Jeffrey Gillette Caraway (Christina) of Houston, Jennings Malone Caraway of Austin; and great-grandchildren, Lydianna Christine and Hudson Gillette Caraway of Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Shirley Koenning and Alice Weise. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Services will be held Sunday, August 23, 2015, 2 p.m., at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery with Pastor Glenn Robertson officiating. Pallbearers include Roy Weise, David Weise, Curtis Weise, Johnny Jurek, Corey Marberry, and Terry Hadamek. Honorary pallbearers include Jimmy Bulgerin, Albert (Bubba) Hadamek, John Jurek, Harold Eubanks, and Redgie Marberry.
